Spring Cleaning
TextMeFree.com is having a bit of a spring clean, which means that we are testing the free SMS services we list and if any are found not to be working then they are being deleted.
This will give our users an improved service. However, if you use a free SMS service from TextMeFree.com and it doesn’t work, please let us know by contacting us or by leaving a review of the site.
International Free SMS
This week we have reviewed all the Worldwide free SMS services – these sites say that you can send free text messages to most countries in the world. We found quite a few that were no longer working, so they’ve gone!
Despite deleting seven sites from our Worldwide SMS category, there are still 35 SMS sites listed.
SMScity
Our favourite at the moment is SMScity. This service started out in the Netherlands, but now it’s an international service and it works very well. It’s not unlimited (although there are ways to earn extra credits), you get one free SMS every day, but it’s a very reliable service.
Other Worldwide Text Services
We also like Skebby because you can send free texts directly from your mobile rather than a computer, and we like unlimitsms.net because it let’s you send unlimited free SMS every day without any registration.
So don’t forget, if TextMeFree.com doesn’t list a free SMS service for the country that you want to text, then just use one of these tried and tested international text message sites.
